Riviera Maya & Cozumel

Mexico is one of the TOP 10 Dive and Holiday destinations in the world. Playa del Carmen is the place to be, with restaurants, beach bars and a wild night life.

the Riviera Maya & Cozumel have over 60,000 hotel rooms, so there is something for every taste and budget. We can suggest anything from a $15 per night dorm room, to a $1000 per month suite with ocean view. We are based in several hotels and can provide full accomodations.

Where is the IDC held?

We have three 5 STAR IDC training centers along the Riviera Maya & Cozumel.
Up to Dive Master you can do at any of our centers. The IDC training is usually done at our 5 Star facility, Catalonia Playa Maroma. It’s 15 minutes north of Playa del Carmen, and we provide transportation.
We also provide IDC training at our other PADI 5 Star facility on Cozumel. This island was a sleepy little fishing community until 1961, when Jacques Cousteau declared it one of the most beautiful scuba diving areas of the world.
Since then the waters of Cozumel have become an underwater marine park to protect the beautiful coral reefs and abundant variety of tropical fish. The wildlife is absolutely amazing due to the clarity of the water and 100 - 200 ft visibility.
The climate is sub-tropical with year round warm ocean waters.

Classes are held ocean front. You look out the classroom's window and you admire the turquoise Caribbean waters right in front of you. We use air-conditioned class rooms with the latest audio/visual media.

Where will I live?

Our guests can book their own accomodations right in the vivid center of Playa del Carmen, or we can provide housing. For candidates who stay for a short period of time we can arrange a 1 room appartment for about 300USD for 14 days training. For internships or extended training we can provide shared rooms or more convenient appartments.

On Cozumel we may provide small, nice & clean Mexican style 1 and 2 bedroom apartments located within a short bicycle ride from your trainings center. Or cheap taxi's are available.
During this program breakfast and lunches are provided at our tranings center right at the beach restaurant.

All-inclusive accomodations

ProDive mexico is working closely with hotels mentioned below and we could make an all-inclusive hotel/dive package on request. If you have some other prefered lodging queries or if you have something special in mind, do contact us. We will be more then happy to find you the perfect lodging for your carribean holliday.

Dreams Puerto Aventuras

The beauty and splendor of the Caribbean await you at Dreams Puerto Aventuras, located in the heart of the Riviera Maya. Escape to a lush, all-inclusive paradise that promises a fun escape for families and couples alike.

The all-inclusive hotel's 305 guestrooms offer balcony or terrace views of boats rocking in the nearby marina or the sparkling turquoise Caribbean. Rooms are located in three and six story sections and have 1 king or 2 double beds. Guestrooms are finely decorated in bright colors and have polished stone floors.

Catalonia Riviera Maya

The white sandy beaches, crystal clear water, a great marina with restaurants and bars at a walking distance as well as a nine hole golf course makes the Catalonia Riviera Maya a place that stands out, a place for those looking for the authentic Caribbean.

The all-inclusive resort provides 326 comfortable rooms of Mexican-Caribbean design, spread horizontally along the property on three and four story buildings and villas. The resort features five swimming pools, including a pool for children, four restaurants, snack bar, five bars, disco, fitness center, tennis court and kid’s club for children from 4 to 12 years old. Water sport activities include aqua-aerobics, water polo, pool volleyball plus introductory scuba diving lesson and use of non-motorized water sports equipment including sailboats, kayaks, windsurf, padleboats and snorkeling equipment.

Hotel Playa-Azul (Cozumel)

Situated on a small and intimate private beach on the western coast of one of the worlds most famous dive destinations this boutique Hotel is the perfect spot to admire a Mexican sunset after a day of diving. The Hotel Playa-Azul is located at the more quiet northern half of the island affording its guest relaxation and tranquility.

The Hotel has 50 beautifully decorated rooms overlooking the turquoise blue ocean waters. Hotel guests can play Golf on the adjoining championship golf course without having to pay green fees. Dive excursions depart from the Pro Dive Mexico dive center located on the property.
